FAQ

Think of a hackathon as an invention marathon. These events bring together student programmers, designers, and more -- to learn, build, and share cool new technology applications. Many universities host these events annually, providing a venue for students from different schools and backgrounds to work in teams to build these platforms from scratch.

Yes! Mentors will also be available to help you learn and build something cool!

If you want to! You could build something by yourself, or you could find people you want to work with. There will be a lot of others in your situation, and we'll help with that.

You should bring some form of identification (driver’s license, school ID card, etc.), laptops, phones, chargers, anything you need to hack with.

No. All projects must be worked on from scratch at the event. You'll have enough time to make something you can be proud of.

Most likely yes. Check back in with us later.
